Your Background Remover is a free, browser-based AI tool that removes image backgrounds. All image processing occurs entirely on your local device. No images are transmitted to or stored on our servers. The Service is provided free of charge with no usage limits.

You agree not to use the Service to:
- Process images you do not have the rights or permission to edit.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the Service in ways that harm other users.
- Use automated scripts to abuse or overload the tool beyond normal personal use.
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
4. Intellectual Property
You retain full ownership and all rights to the images you process. We claim no intellectual property rights over your content. The website design, code, and brand assets are the property of Your Background Remover. The underlying AI models (BiRefNet, @imgly/background-removal) are open-source and subject to their respective licenses.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or produce results of a particular quality. AI-based background removal may not be perfect for all image types.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Your Background Remover shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Since no user data is collected or stored, we cannot be liable for data loss related to your images.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be reflected with an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
